Demaryus “Moona” Johnson

In the first game of Johnson’s senior season, Fitzgerld took a loss, but Moona did play pretty well. He came out in the first half a tad sluggish, but as the game, went on his game picked up. Fitzgearld’s defense was having a hard time stopping Warren Mott’s RPO offense, because of (Michael Kronner). Johnson is a run first linebacker. He played the line-of-scrimmage (LOS) well. He moved very well as a sideline-sideline backer. On numerous occasions throughout the night, he as able to make plays at or behind the LOS. He had a play where he was able to scoop up a fumble recovery after one of his teammates was able to get a sack. He took that back about 25 yards. He ended the game with 11 total tackles and seven solo tackles.
