Kenneth Vinson Jr.
-Nickel/Wr/KPR Madison High School (Madison Heights, MI) Sr. class
Vinson Jr. took a while to come alive offensively, but in the second half he started picking up his production. . At nickel, he was aggressive against the run. Getting two TFL’s. He showed that he can shed blocks quickly and the play. He wasn’t thrown at much when being the main defender in the slot. He had five catches for 53 yards.
Cortez Croff
-De/Wr South Lake High School (Saint Clair Shores, MI) Jr. class
Croff finished the game with 2.5 sacks, two TFL’s, and five+ tackles. He was able to add in a few pressures as well. For him being an undersized defensive end, that didn’t stop him. He was a fast edge rusher, with a very fierce first two steps. He used the over-the-head-swim mostly. When he didn’t use a move, he would beat tackles from them being off-balanced. He was able to rush from both sides, mostly rushing out of a two-point-stance the whole game. The swim move did get him in trouble at times. He was pushed out of the play a few times while trying to use the move.
