Kishaun Stewart

-Sg/SF Hazel Park High School (Hazel Park, MI) Jr. class

Steward had a good showing against Sterling Heights. He showed he was at his best attacking the rim, as he got to the free-throw for more than six attempts. He played with a good pace, knowing how to speed it up and when to slow it down. Throughout the game he looked comfortable with or without the ball in his hands. He also showed he’s a good on-ball defender, stopping two plays at the end of the quarter. His right to left crossover worked well for him when trying to create space. He finished the game with 17 points a few dimes. He added four offensive rebounds.

Carson Otto

-G/F Sterling Heights High School (Sterling Heights, MI) Jr. class

Carson Otto had 30 of his teams 73 points. Most of that came within the offense. He didn’t take every shot and even had time where he wasn’t on the floor. Otto was always aware when the offense was about to be in transition. He constantly beat Hazel Park to the other end of the floor. Scoring a chunk of that 30 in transition. At times he played on and off the ball. He looked efficient in both. Otto seemed more comfortable off of the ball to start the action. He scored most of points not over dribbling and just getting to his spot. He had supreme confidence in his three-point shot, really heating up in the second half.

Carson Otto positive plays 1/31.
