Howard showed his versatility Friday (10/18). He carried the ball over five times, racked up a sack, multiple tackles, a TFL, and had the game-winning pick-six. He looked most comfortable at DT. When South Lake would get in the red zone, he would drop back to ILB. He was able to get his interception when playing LB. At tackle he was physical and wasn’t overpowered much throughout the game. He mostly used two moves: the bull-rush, and the rip. He looked too reliant on his bull-rush/ trying to his strength on pass rushes. Howard Jr.’s had times where working his hand could’ve put him in the play.
